Anapaya CORE deployment modes
This section demonstrates the different deployment modes for Anapaya CORE. Depending on the existing ISP network, redundancy requirements, and existing infrastructure, we recommend the static or dynamic deployment modes.
Static CORE
The static CORE setup consists of at least two CORE appliances that are statically configured to connect to each other and to customer networks. This setup is the easiest to implement on the CORE appliances.
Refer to the deployment example for detailed configuration instructions.
Dynamic CORE
The dynamic CORE setup consists of at least two CORE appliances that are connected to each other and to customer networks using the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). In this setup, the CORE appliances are configured with loopback interfaces, whose IP addresses are advertised to the ISP IP network using BGP. This allows for dynamic routing and automatic failover in case of issues in the ISP IP network which connects the CORE appliances, or connects the CORE appliances to customer networks.
