Anapaya's comprehensive product suite enables Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to build and operate the SCION Internet and empowers businesses to use the SCION Internet to reliably connect their sites, secure their communications, and enhance their overall network performance.
Anapaya EDGE
Anapaya EDGE enables enterprises and other organizations to connect their existing networks to the SCION Internet. It is deployed at the network edge and uses IP-in-SCION tunneling to encapsulate standard IP traffic into SCION packets. This allows existing applications to function over the SCION network without modification. The EDGE product also utilizes SCION's path control and multipathing capabilities, allowing network administrators to select specific network paths to optimize for performance or reliability.
Anapaya CORE
Anapaya CORE is used by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to build the backbone of the SCION Internet. It implements the core routing functionalities, managing path discovery, validation, and forwarding between different network providers. ISPs deploy Anapaya CORE to establish the foundational infrastructure of the SCION Internet, creating a robust and secure inter-domain routing infrastructure.
Anapaya GATE
Anapaya GATE is a solution for service providers to offer SCION connectivity to their residential and business customers. Deployed within the ISP's backbone, it provides functionality similar to the Anapaya EDGE but is designed to operate at a larger scale. It manages the tunneling of customer traffic onto the SCION network, extending its benefits to end-users. Anapaya GATE is designed to provide organizations with a more secure, reliable, and controllable way to connect their critical online services to the Internet.
Anapaya CONSOLE
Anapaya CONSOLE is the management platform for the Anapaya product suite. It provides a centralized interface for the configuration, monitoring, and operation of CORE, EDGE, and GATE appliances. Administrators use the CONSOLE to manage network policies, monitor traffic, and oversee the health of the entire Anapaya and SCION deployment.
